Freelance Technical Writer (Remote)

 

MarketReach is looking for an experienced technical writer to add to its stable of talented freelancers. The freelance technical writer will take on occasional, large projects—such as, for example, the creation of 100-plus page technical guides. 

Qualifications: 

  • Five or more years of experience writing documentation for an audience of IT professionals
  • Technical expertise and an ability to understand complex systems (familiarity with wired, wireless, data center, SD-WAN, and security technologies a plus)
  • Ability to adhere to client-specific editorial style preferences
  • Ability to collaborate with—and organize the efforts of—engineers and other subject matter experts, to create first-rate technical documentation that is concise and clear
  • Capacity to take on large, fast-moving projects
  • Bachelor's degree in technical communications, journalism, English, or related field
